The Austin Local Loop Initiative
A Good Morning Tree Service has joined with BE Wild, Cap City Mushrooms, Odd Roots Coffee and Wildflower Church to help grow and restore the land in Austin and central Texas. Our wood chip waste becomes a vital resource for these community-based soil projects. This local loop initiative demonstrates how trees can feed the soil, which in turn grows the next generation of plants. Click to read more about the Austin Local Loop Initiative.

Fiber Optic Line Clearing Project
A Good Morning Tree Service has been contracted with ADB Companies and AT&T to clear tree limbs around AT&T’s utility communication lines. This project helps ensure Texas summer camps have dependable fiber service and a better alert system. This goes along with the new law that passed to mandate them being open. AT&T has also indicated they will remove the old copper wiring and replace it with fiber, which is more dependable, much smaller and lighter.
Location: City of Austin and surrounding areas – easement boundaries only. (Most easements are in the rear of the property. Please ensure that gates are able to be opened, and animals are contained.)
Project Purpose: Ensure safe and unobstructed access to fiber optic infrastructure, for installation and maintenance of lines.
Project Scope: clear vegetation and tree limbs at least 45 inches around fiber optic lines.
Clearance: Pole-to-pole;bottom line clearing, 16-20 feet up. (Line is at approximately 18 feet up.)
Timeline: Crews will move systematically through the neighborhood during scheduled workdays in 2026, between 8am – 5pm.
Please keep easement areas accessible:
- remove personal items
- remove obstructions
- contain animals.
Notes:
- We will remove all brush and debris before the end of the next day – the day following line clearing.
- We will seal all oak wounds.
